Peekaboo Stool Wins iF Design Award

The Peekaboo stool has won the 2020 iF Design Award. Characterized by its monolithic shape, stability, and durability, this all-plastic stool features a soft, peel-back seat surface that reveals the cross-section of the stool, contrasting with the solidity of the main structure. The slightly raised seat surface serves a triple purpose: it creates a minimal backrest, the gap it forms with the main body allows users to lift the stool easily, and when stacked, it prevents the "vacuum effect" that can make it hard to separate the stools. Lastly, Peekaboo's peripheral full-body geometry allows manufacturers to develop and produce it more easily and quickly.
